California State University, Dominguez Hills is a public university with approximately 14,477 students located 18 miles south of Downtown Los Angeles in the city of Carson. Freeway close to South Bay beach cities and other world famous Southern California cultural and entertainment attractions including the Home Depot Center, home of the LA Galaxy and Chivas USA Professional Soccer Teams. This state of the art sports complex is located on the campus of California State University Dominguez Hills. CSUDH offers a wide choice of bachelor's and master's degree programs. The three most popular academic programs are Liberal Studies (the teacher preparation program), Business Administration and Nursing.
